Catch the Crescent Ridge Ice Cream Truck at this year’s July 3rd Fireworks in Sharon, MA!

The annual Sharon Independence Day Celebration will be held Wednesday, July 3 at Veterans’ Memorial Park Beach.

The event kicks off with the Red, White, and Blue Children’s Parade at 4 p.m. Children are invited to decorate their bicycles, wagon, stroller etc. and line up at Beech Tree Park at 3:45 p.m.

The celebration will also include live music by country singer Houston Bernard and his band, food trucks, train rides and carnival games.

A pie-eating contest will be held at 8 p.m. on the bandstand lawn, sponsored by Shaw's Supermarket in Sharon. There is no charge to enter, with a $50 prize for the winner. Sign up to enter at the main gate. You must be 18 years or older to enter.

The day will end with fireworks over Lake Massapoag at a new time: 9:15 p.m. The time of the fireworks could be earlier depending on the weather.
